An independent evangelical congregation on School Street, answering to no wider denomination.

Largs Parish Church (Clark Memorial)

Church of Scotland, part of the Cumbrae, Fairlie and Largs parish. The 1892 building on Bath Street is category A listed and holds a Grade 1 listed Father Willis organ, one of the finest of his instruments in Scotland. Sunday morning worship — see their site for the current time.

Largs United Free Church

United Free Church of Scotland, on Brisbane Road near the fire station. A small congregation from the tradition that stayed out of the 1929 union.

St Columba's Scottish Episcopal Church

Scottish Episcopal, at the corner of Aubery Crescent and Greenock Road, with 19th-century connections to Lord Kelvin. Communion at 8am and Eucharist at 11am on Sundays, Communion at 10am on Wednesdays. The Largs Labyrinth is on the north lawn behind the church, open to anyone who wants to walk it, and the congregation runs car boot sales on the grounds four times a year — pitches go early.

St Mary's Star of the Sea

Roman Catholic, sharing a parish with Millport. The Greenock Road church is unmistakable from the front: a steep timber-clad gable with a granite statue of Our Lady beside it.
