How this digest works: it reports what the published minutes record — what was decided, who took the action, and whether last month's actions happened. The same format for every item and every person, names exactly as the minutes give them, nothing rated and nothing ranked. The minutes themselves are always the official record.

• Community councils run on volunteers and almost always have room for more. If you can give an evening a month, you'd be welcome — ask at any meeting.
